Our Work
The HoW works with refugees and asylum seekers who require assistance during their asylum determination and when making the transition to settled life in Australia. Clients come to the HOW through word of mouth, by referral and from other clients. HOW ensures they understand and get a fair opportunity to realise their human rights.

HOW often supports those most in need, those who are not eligible for any housing, financial or medical support, those at greatest risk of destitution and hardship. HOW also supports the settlement and empowerment of its clients who gain permanent protection so that they begin their life with a sense of pride and dignity and real hope.
