The House Of Welcome could also be called the place of encounters. It is here that we encounter the stories of those who have fled their homes, their culture and way of life because of persecution and danger. Each one has a profoundly human story to tell. Each story is filled with a mixture of sadness, joy, risk, courage, frustration, uncertainty, memories good and bad and for most, hope. I say for most because for some the most basic foundation for hope has been destroyed. If you take the time to read the story of Ibrahim (Humanus Nullius) below you will see why.
