The House Of Welcome could also be called the place of encounters. It is here that we encounter the stories of those who have fled their homes, their culture and way of life because of persecution and danger.
These stories display sadness, joy, risk, courage, frustration, uncertainty and hope …. they have a profound yet simple message for all Australians – beyond the policies and the politics are human beings!
